For some people, the colder months means the removal of colour but not for me! I still wear colours, but if I want to be season appropriate, there are certain colours I gravitate to. I don't believe that black is the only 'colour' to wear in autumn and winter. If you're like me, and don't believe in removing colour from your nails during this season, make sure to continue reading.

Maroon is most probably my go to. I have many items in my wardrobe in this colour and I love a maroon matte lipstick, so why not also add matching nails to the mix? I'm not really one for plain red nails, but I find maroon to be the perfect shade of red that adds sophistication without being too garish and in your face. Top it off with a matte finish, and your nails couldn't be more ready for the colder months.

Coming in a close second would be nails in a forest green. This darker shade of green is also perfect for the festive season.

This colour is perfect if you're looking for a more muted colour that's still season appropriate. I find this nail colour to be classic and grown both with a glossy finish or a matte finish.

Last and definitely not least, is plum. As someone who's favourite colour is purple, I had to include an A/W edition.

This darker shade of purple is so vampy and stylish especially if you're wearing an all black outift which tends to be the default in the colder months. Plum is also a great lipstick shade so the colour is perfect for a matching lips and nails combo.

If you're looking for nails season appropriate, make sure to check out the A/W collection here.

What colours do you like to wear during the colder seasons? Have I missed any colours? Do let me know in the comments!
